Official eSC! Spring Showdown ruleset - EA FC26


The PS5s, controllers and TVs are provided by Nexus Gamer's Pub.
You can bring your own PS5 controller.


Capitolul I - Game format

-4 man groups, away and back;
-The first two will qualify and until the final the format will be direct elims, single bracket; 
-Ties will go into classic extensions;
-6 minute half, ultimate difficulty, no extra settings.

Capitolul III - Entry, Game rules, Cheating and Conduct

-The entry fee (25 RON) must be paid until the 10th of April;
-The player must be a student at USAMV Cluj-Napoca and must be present with their student card/license on the first day;
 After this, the player will receive a Tyvek wristband which must stay on until the end of the copmetition;
 If a player refuses to show their student card/license or is not a student at USAMV CN, they will be eliminated.
-Any aggressive behaviour (cursing, insults, etc) will be penalised;
-Any cheating/distracting will lead to elimination;
-Player must be present 10 minutes before their matches;
-Any player that is more than 5 minutes late will be eliminated;
-You are not allowed to connect anything else except the controller to the console;
-You are not allowed to connect the console to any network;
-You hace 3 minutes maximum to configure your team/tactics before matches;
-You can only play club teams (no nationals, legends, etc.);
-You must choose your team before the tournament starts and your are not allowed to change it;
-The game will pe halted/postponed if any tech issues arise; depending on their severity;
-Pausing the match for no good reason leads to a penalization;
-Every player gets 3 30 second pauses to change tactics/settings, etc.;
-Players can pause the game only due in-game pauses (faults, offsides, outs, goals, pauses, etc.);
-The pause between halves is 1 minute max;
-Teams will pay for any damage to the provided infrastructure and will be eliminated.
-Alchool consumption on tournament grounds is forbidden.
-No one is allowed to eat/drink next tot the consoles/TVs.



Notes:

-During the matches you will be watched by a ref;
-Any complaints during the matches will be conveyed to the ref;
-By paying for entry you confirm having read this ruleset and agreed with it;
-Second place gets their entry fee reinbursed;
-First place receives prizes as well as free entry for the next edition.
